Dinaric mountains are mountains whose initial letter is D. They are located on the Balkan Peninsula and stretch along the coast of the Adriatic Sea. They occupy the territory of seven countries: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Albania. The highest peak is considered to be Maja e Jezercës, which is 2,694 m above sea level.
