Ladybug - a small beetle with over 5,000 different species in its family. It has a very distinctive appearance as it has a colored wing coating, usually red, almost always decorated with black dots. Ladybug heads are hammered. The main food of ladybugs is aphids. Due to their small size, usually no larger than 1 cm, they are able to bury themselves under the bark of trees where they most often stay. The common ladybug in Poland is 6 mm long and has a red body with black dots.
