Fire-bellied toad

The fire-bellied toad, also known as the fire-bellied toad (Bufo calamita), is a species of amphibian from the toad family (Bufonidae). It is a relatively large amphibian, reaching a length of 6 to 12 cm. Its body is stocky, with prominent mammary glands on its sides. The skin is rough, greenish-brown or gray in color, covered with irregular, darker spots. On the back of the fire-bellied toad you can see a characteristic, bright stripe running along the spine.
