Lama is an animal beginning with the letter L. Llamas are mammals from the order of the cloven-hoofed family, which come from the camelid family. These animals inhabit the Andes in South America, mainly in Peru and Bolivia. In other parts of the continent, they occur only in the domesticated form. They are bred mainly for the production of valuable wool, meat and milk. Moreover, llamas are treated as pack animals.
Llamas are very social animals that live in packs. They spit in order to discipline lower rank individuals. They feed on grass, leaves of shrubs and trees on a daily basis.
