Small lizards have a torso, often several dozen centimeters long, with a characteristic long tail. The taxonomy distinguishes up to 50 of these reptiles and 350 specific species. They live in almost every biome, including human-dominated areas, and their only enemy is low temperatures as they are cold-blooded animals. There are carnivores who mainly love fruit. Most of them are animals that are active mainly during the day. They can run fast, sometimes even in water.
