Mink is a species of mammal from the Weasel family. Years ago, it was commonly found all over Europe. It feeds on small mammals, as well as forage, birds and invertebrates. The European mink is considered extinct in Poland. Very few individuals are found in Spain, Romania and France. The European mink looks like a coward. A distinctive feature is the neck, the width of which is almost equal to the head. The mink has a beautiful shiny coat.
